Dr. John owns the stage at Miller on September 7 at
8 p.m., fresh off the success of his Grammy Award-winning album “Locked Down”.
New Orleans legend Dr. John has been a
formidable boogie and blues pianist with a lovable growl of a voice for
decades. His most enduring achievements have fused New Orleans R&B,
rock, and Mardi Gras craziness to come up with his own brand of
"voodoo" music.
This concert is sponsored in part by CenterPoint
Energy.
Free tickets for the covered seating area are
available at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office on the day of the
performance between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. There is a limit of four tickets per
person over age 16, while they last.
